Videos and screen shots have started popping up on the web showing the Xbox 360 Slim (which was revealed during this year’s E3) with the “Red Dot of Death”-Basically it’s an overheating issue- which has caused quite an outburst of fanboys. Today, Microsoft has responded to these issues with an email.
The email, which was sent to the folks over at Now Gamer, was a response to Now Gamer after the website had asked about the specific issue:
“We couldn’t be more proud of the consoles we are building now, as well as the new Xbox 360. This console is the culmination of years of continuous innovation in design, testing and learning. Today we are confident we are shipping a high quality product.”
If you remember recently, Gamer Syndrome was the first to report on a couple of screenshots which showed an Xbox 360 Slim with an overheating issue.
