Modding Xbox 360 firmware already occur since first Xbox 360 launch on 2005 where by modifying your xbox 360 console you can download Xbox 360 games, burn into a DVD and play on your Xbox 360. This is illegal things and Microsoft declaring war against this piracy with some action such as bans Xbox modified firmware (some source mantion Microsoft bans more than 1 million xbox 360) and no warranty for modified firmware.
Xbox 360 slim which announced on June 2010 at E3 has new protection installed and this make all previous mods useless by using new DVD room and new system installed on Xbox 360 slim. But I found video on youtube where mentionxbox 360 slim successfully hacked, here is the link:
Seems this is done by Team Executer, and they also plans to reales the hack in the near future to the public, but are finishing up the work. Now don’t forget copy right infringement isn’t exactly legal.Some things still remain unanswered; Does this patch require a moded box? And the video doesn’t show them logging into Xbox Live.
