How to recognize Xbox 360 FALCON (Part II)

On our previous post, we explain how to recognized xbox 360 FALCON without opening xbox 360 box. Now we will explain how to know xbox 360 FALCON by seeing its console and Power Supply Unit (PSU)
1. Power Supply Unit
The difference between PSU for FALCON and zephyr is PSU for FALCON using 175 watt and zephyr use 203 watt. So take a look on your PSU and you will know what xbox 360 type that you have.

2. Xbox 360 Console
If you take a look xbox FALCON motherboard, there are several differences compared to Zephyr Motherboard (Head sink/HSF, Inductor)

From two pictures above you can see there are several indifferences between Zephyr and FALCON motherboard, but we don't expect you to open xbox 360 case to find its differences. You can find out by seeing xbox 360's right side (the opposite of xbox 360 hard disk)

From picture above you will see xbox 360 zephyr 3 have green inductor (old) and gold heat pipe whereas xbox 360 FALCON have 2 green inductor (new) and no gold heat pipe on CPU HSF.
