Microsoft already launches xbox 360 slim on July 2010. as you can see in picture above, xbox 360 slim have more sharp and old xbox 360. Seems that Microsoft trying to make the Xbox 360 more "family focused" not specific on hardcore gamer, moreover we have Kinect possible on September 2010. So what xbox 360 slim offer moves than old xbox 360.
1. Build in 250 GB hardrive. This will let user save not only games but also movie, music and many more
2. Build in WiFi. Something gamers have been crying out for since the original Xbox 360 does not include one and Microsoft's add-on device is priced extortionately.
3. Kinect Ready. Kinect allow user do something more interactive by using their bode rather than holding stick, xbox 360 doesn't need additional adapter compare with old xbox 360.
4. More USB adapter. xbox 360 slim have 5 USB adapter compare with old xbox 360 which only have 3 USB
5. Power supply. xbox 360 slim only need 135W, compare with xbox 360 jasper which need 150W
With several advantages above Microsoft put price $299, meaning user with get more but with same price?
Seems that Microsoft launch xbox 360 slim in order to cut production cost also because xbox 360 slim use only one chip where GPU and CPU are placed in one chip.
Finally we have to wait several months to know quality of this xbox 360, if it is good this will become main advantage for user as old xbox 360 have 3RROD problem
