Hacking Xbox 360 HDD

Xbox LIVE offering many interesting content to download such as Video on Demand, Xbox game Arcade, Preview or Review some games and of course installing Xbox game its self which require 6Gb storage. All those content will be saved on your Xbox HDD. I bought my Xbox 360 with only 20 Gb and i don't want spending my money to buy original Xbox 360 HDD. Some of you will think can i buy blank HDD and put in on my Xbox 360? the answer is yes and HDD can be modify and put in your Xbox 360. but you cannot just attach in on Xbox 360, several step need to do. Let me explain it to you

Buy First match HDD, because not all HDD in the market is suitable on Xbox 360, the most common one is WD scorpion and there are2 type commonly use is BEVT and BEVS. Sample picture

Download required software to modify those WD Scorpion HDD, you can downloaded it here: Bootable_USB_Drive_Creator_Tool.rar. Bootable software will only work on MS-DOS not on windows. so you need to set WD scorpion as a master HDD (you can detach all device on your PC such as DVD, CDR or other HDD). Example if your WD HDD is 250 Gb you can download modify file here 250 Gigabyte as dump file for WD WDD 250 gigabyte. Don't forget to rename download file as HDDSS_250GB.BIN to HDDSS.BIN if you are hacking a 250gb drive. There is severa dumb file available based on HDD storage that you have (20, 60 and the biggest one is 320 Gbtye) make no mistake between your HDD and dumb file because your Xbox 360 storage will follow dumb file that you use.
Bootable device. as you PC need to run on MS-DOS, you need device (such as Floppy disk or USB device) than can Boot your computer. You can download it here and the view of that software should be like this:
Powered up PC. When you already do all stage that i mention, power up you PC and Click start to make your USB drive as bootable device. your computer should display like this
Type hddhackr on C prompt and all been hddhackr type will have listed all the drives in your system, in my case the drive I want to hack is number 5 because I put my WD HDD on slot number 5.
After you entering number 5 (my case) there is choice action implement on your HDD which is dump, flash or restore the firmware, select F to flash.Type in the name of the security sector you want to flash, this will be HDDSS.BIN if you have followed this tutorial.\You will get a message saying that the information in file HDDSS.BIN does not match the drive’s firmware info. "Do you want to flash the Xbox 360 compatible firmware"
Say yes to this:
Your WD HDD should be ready used for Xbox 360 and you already hack Xbox 360 HD
Turn off your PC and attach it on your Xbox 360. when you power up your console notification should appear to format your new Xbox 360 HDD. Say yes also to this: and now you can put more games and content on your Xbox 360
